The check-in was a little shaky when we first arrived. For some reason they received no notice from Expedia that we had room reservation. Fortunately I had printed out and brought my itinerary and receipt with me, as I had experienced this issue with The Loft the previous year. Overall stay was great. May have been better if there was a complimentary breakfast for guests (so we didn't have to go out and look for other places to eat) and more cable channels to choose from.

The Westin National Harbor is a very nice hotel and close to many nice eating facilities, shops and activities. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean and spacious. We live in the area, but stay there often just to get away from the house and experience a new environment.

Nice hotel and solid alternative to the Gaylord

From the moment I walked in the door the staff was helpful and courteous. Everyone, including housekeeping and the bellman. Food in National Harbor is expensive, however I found the Westin pricing to be slightly higher than expected so I found alternative options for breakfast and dinner.

This hotel has their act together and makes a great alternative toe the Gaylord Hotel.
