We did the 3-course tasting menu with wine pairings. The first course was a lobster / vanilla salad with roe and was stupendous. The 2nd was a halibut with roasted sun chokes - very good. The 3rd was a pork belly - a bit fatty. The olivada that went with it was jarring. First two wines were excellent, 3rd left bit to be desired.
Tiny, fussy, and expensive food and drinks with a lot of hype. I will try anything, including celery root that "resembles tuna steak" as suggested by our server. I was 5 tiny pieces of celery root, that well, were celery root. The very ambitious cocktail bar proudly doesn't stock any vodka. For $175 for two, I wan't impressed and had to get something to eat on the way home where I made my wife...
