Just Don't Expect High Quality -It's like a really big 'Budget Inn'

My husband and I just spent a weekend at this hotel a couple of weeks ago. We were able to save money vs. going to the Sheraton or nearby Marriot. He didn't think this hotel was worth the 50 bucks we saved. This place was not a nightmare- the staff was friendly, and the actual hotel room appeared to be clean. But the carpet was old looking and THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB WAS NASTY. It looked like it was dirty, I didn't take a shower the next morning. Figured I may as well keep my own dirt rather than stand on someone else's. If I were to describe this hotel in one word it would be ""Dingy""....

The Norfolk Radisson is a good, quality hotel with new improvements constantly that i can see. Their prices are far better than the hotels just a few blocks away on the water. Who wants to pay 50-75 bucks more just to see water?
