I live near the Parkwood and there is an ambulance and police cars there at least once a week. The residents seem to be left to wander with not much supervision. It's extremely expensive ($2100 roughly) and from what I've been told, it doesn't cover the cost of necessary medication. The place is filthy and can be smelled near the entrances. I have lived in the neighborhood for 8 years. The care the residents receive is deplorable. They complain of drug and alcohol abuse, poor nutrition, neglect, and harassment. They have been investigated for fraud, received countless calls to police, complaints from neighbors, and neighboring businesses have tried (unsuccessfully) to have the place shut down.
