Do not move in to the heights--now called the myrtles in old town portsmouth!!!! Current resident of 4a north 2012. There are roaches in my kitchen, ants, bugs coming out of my sinks, mold coming out of the air vents, the doors are falling off the hinges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call me if you want to come see this s@!t hole that we live in.
Sure the rent price is great, but it's only great if you want to live with bugs and a broken apartment!!!
I have lived at the Heights for 3 years now. For what I am currently paying, I am not at all happy. The laundry facilities never seem to work. Also when I call re: noise complaints or problems such as the laundry, nothing ever seems to change. The current girl in the office is a moron and she will simply say whatever she needs to in order to get you out of her face. I would like to get out of...
This place is nice, and it's a good price with all utilities and cable/internet included. But there have been like six or seven different managers in and out of there in the year that I have lived here, and the poor other girl in the office that, from what I could see pretty much ran the show, is now gone. I avoid the office at all costs now.

This place is terrible! The elevator gets stuck on a daily basis, laundry facility always broken, the building is old and looks like a crack house on the inside. For the amount that we pay in rent it is ridiculous. The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on next door. And the management constanly leaves stupid flyers on your door.

Maintenece is scarce. They change prices in rentals. They don't care about their tenants. Consider another place to live because the price is not worth the hassel.
