Had this restaurant on my list for some time and it definitely lived up to all the ratings I had previously read. It is a bit out of the way but well worth the drive - especially since the drive is through the rolling hills of Virginia. Our first time at Goodstone. We liked the menu and the extensive wine list; the food was very good, service was ok to good, but all-in-all it was a bit over-priced. Also, the rural road getting there was very narrow and full of pot-holes; ok during daylight hours but marginal at night.
