Great brunch

We enjoyed a brunch while in DC and there were ample choices. Eggs were quite tasty, bacon nice and crispy, sausage links were large, blueberry muffins were scrumptous, home fries had a nice subtle onion flavor and fresh squeezed OJ. The setting in the Colonnade was beautiful.

Pan seared scallops were amazing! I loved the American beer selection as well. Service was friendly and fast.

Unfortunately, this incredible brunch is not going to happen XMAS Day 2015. I am NOT happy about this. I was looking forward to it. Last year was incredible.

I've been visiting the Colonnade for years. Their Sunday brunch was legendary. Twenty years ago it was available almost every Sunday. Unfortunately, over the years, they offer it less and less often.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful space. So much natural light, marble and crystal you feel like you're in the main dining room in the best possible afterlife scenario. I was there for an event, and the lunch was outstanding. Heirloom tomato salad, perfectly roasted chicken and an excellent caramel dessert. Excellent event food. Tremendous and unobtrusive service.
