The resort is still locked into the ninety's. But a big re-no is starting in a couple of weeks. They ran out of martini glasses and served it in a sniffer?!? really!?

We had a fabulous dinner, beginning with salad and shrimp cocktail, ending with wonderful, tender steaks. The service was very good, wait staff was attentive, but gave us space. The location provided incredible ocean views. Most every table would have a nice view, although we had reserved a window table which was perfect for our anniversary. Would highly recommend The Cliff House dining room.

This is the second time we ate at the Cliff House and I was not impressed with the food either time. Our baked potatoes were hard and not fully cooked and my fish was just ok. The waitress was very good and the view was nice but the food needs to improve.

Not just a bad nite. They need a new chef, mgr and staff. The staff and mgr attitudes were awful, didn't care when we expressed poor quality food and service. The mushroom risotto looked liked a lump of glue with no taste. Halibut was $32 which would have been ok IF it wasn't overcooked and dry. Clam chowder was mostly potatoes. Service was very slow and servers were confused about...

Scampi was average and served with rice, would have preferred pasta. Salad was adequate. Nothing out of the ordinary.
