Two weddings had the town booked up but we got the last room at the Castle on Silver Lake and we had a great weekend. The room was huge with a Queen sized bed and 2 twins. We loved it, but there were some odd bits. Ronnie gave a lovely welcome / tour. We stayed in Jane's room and the bed was comfy and the facilities fine. Noise was an issue - we were could hear our neighbours next door and above all too easily. In our group of rooms, the thermostat could not be controlled separately...

This was our first trip to Ocracoke and we were celebrating our anniversary. Staff was warm and soon became friends. Accommodations in Jane's Room were great. Quiet and the view from the roof is the best! Delicious breakfast with Gladys' biscuits, grits and eggs are to die for. Informative and very helpful were Ronnie and Cedra. I would recommend this...

Patti's Room lots of noise

Recently stayed at The Castle, location was good, breakfast was very good, we stayed in Patti's room, wall & doors very thin do not make to much noise in bathroom or everybody knows. There is an air conditioning compressor outside the window that cycled on and of all night, was hard to sleep, was not worth the money.

We stayed in the Castle villas ,they are clean and well equipped, Close to town and Harbor walk anywhere in a few minutes, Has a swimming pool and Harbor view area. Walking distance to Springer Point nature reserve and beach. Great place for a short or long stay couples to families
