The Boathouse will give you an atmosphere that may be hard to replicate in RVA! They have an unrivaled view of the city and the modern decor is a refreshing break from most venues in Richmond that embrace traditional style. Their happy hour is one of the best and brunch never disappoints. I'm not a huge fan of their current dinner menu, but most will be satisfied.

This is a gorgeous seafood restaurant off of the James River in Rocketts Landing. It is always a special outing when my father docks his boat out here and we grab lunch and cocktails. Their blueberry sweet tea is delicious and so is their crab cake sandwich! The bar scene is bustling at night.
