What the community has to say about T.G.I. Friday's

Information about this business (5)

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. Stopped for dinner during a snowstorm. We were greeted promptly and Zach, our server, was very personable and attentive. Not many other customers so had very good service. Had the bruschetta chicken and Friday's shrimp, and both were very good. Relaxing atmosphere.

What to Drink

With 18-ounce glasses, you might only order one. Friday's is known for its comprehensive drink menu, so try something a little unusual, like the June Bug--made from Midori, coconut rum, banana liqueur and pineapple juice.

The Extras
