Tex Art Stone was recommended to me by a landscaping company. My first visit was very pleasant and my second visit was even better. It was unlike any other retail shopping experience I have ever had. What I mean is, it is definitely self-service and unique in it's procedures. You drive onto a weigh-in ramp to see what your vehicle's weight is before loading merchandise. Then, you drive down rows of boulders, soil, mulch, etc. until you find what you like. They will provide you a map listing all products, costs and location. There is one area that is off limits to customer vehicles, but...

Terrible customer service and very unorganized.

This is a landscaping company that I ordered dirt from.

1. they neglected to enter my order in the system and didn't show up when they said they would. They admitted the error and arranged to come out right away.

2. THey refused to honor the quote given to me when I placed the order. The owner lost the quote and treated me like I was lying about it.

3. After me insiting they honor their quote, the owner said ""Ma'am, you know what? You are stupid and I'm not bringing you the dirt"". Yes...he actually called me stupid.

They did eventually...
