We stayed at Teeter's for the fist time this past weekend. We have no complaints. It was very wet, as it had been raining non stop all week, but this isn't their fault. Very central location and close to everything Ocracoke has to offer. We loved it and plan on going back soon.

A more interesting, but longer route from WIlmington NC to New England is the Outerbanks route. If you are lucky enough to have a camper, take the time to spend a night or two at Teeter's, situated down a pretty street, just a stone's throw from the ferry dock (from Cedar Island).
