Nothing really special. I had chicken fingers and fries...they were OK. The place was absolutely dead on a Monday night.

I love The Tavern. The people, the conversation, the cheap drinks. I also hold this place very close to my heart. It's where my fiance proposed to me....

I hung out here for a little while after Yelp's Halloween Happy Hour at Mitch's. Since the Tavern was right around the corner, we decided to make a mini bar...

IDK what skinheads in the traditional sense of the word hang out here. I do have a short buzz cut but anything but a skinhead. I've be going to the Tav (cuz its a second home) for over a year and haven't seen anyone who fits that description. Its Durham not Hillsborough! And yea if you Park in Elmo's lot and go to the Tav or vice versa you will get towed. I know I've pointed them out to the bouncer!
If your trying to chill and not be bothered this is the spot.
Ask for the BlomBlom...... :-)

Don't go to The Tavern on W. Markham Ave. in Durham. The place is a dump, it apparently draws a white-supremecist skinhead clientele, and it tows people from its poorly-marked parking lot. All around evil!
