Pretty good, but too pricey in my opinion, especially in the Ironbound where great eats at better prices can be had. Some of the dishes also aren't authentically Portuguese, but I can't knock them because chicken drizzled in creamy sauce always make me happy.In short, Taste of Portugal is okay. For Portuguese food, I still prefer Portugalia on Ferry Street.

We are located corner of Van Buren St. and Delancy St in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey . Our goal is to bring a little bit of Portugal and it's traditions to the cultured people of Newark. When you walk in the doors of this restaurant you will be overcome by the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Portugal.

Taste of Portugal is located in Newark's vibrant Ironbound district. The restaurant is very spacious, and its tables are elegantly set.
