My wife and I visited this restaurant late afternoon on a snowy Wednesday, and it was deserted. Nonetheless, the quality of the food and service didn't waver from the great experience we had on our only previous visit. The welcome is friendly and genuine. We started with vegetable samosas. They are the best I've had anywhere, even in India: flaky pastry shell that would do a French bakery proud, flavorful seasonings, and ample filling. I don't want to needlessly flatter but I will give credit where it is due. I started with a lintel soup for my appetizer and it was simply mouth wateringly explosive. I followed up with tandoori chicken which was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy and sat on a bed of basmati rice that was good enough to be eaten by itself. There was a decent wine selection and a nice atmosphere. I'll definitly be returning regularly.
