Enjoyed breakfast here. My husband had a large bowl of oatmeal with all the fixings. I had bacon & egg biscuits; biscuits were among the best I've ever had. Good coffee also. Inexpensive. Highly recommend.

We each had an omelet with home fries, toast and coffee. The Ham & Cheese and Mexican Omelets were cooked well as requested, served hot and were loaded with ingredients, especially the amount of ham and cheese in that omelet. Good variety on menu and specials. If you are in a hurry, ask if there will be a longer preparation time. We had to wait longer than expected for the fried chicken. It was worth the wait, but it made us a little late for the Lost Colony Play.

Good portions, good food. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch and everything was better than expected. Exterior needs some work and menus falling apart...but don't let that stop you.

There is no such place in Manteo

There is a TL's Family restaurant in Manteo, but no restaurant called TL's Country Kitchen. I live nearby in Manns Harbor and I drive to and through Manteo regularly; I can assure your readers there is only one restaurant called TL's, and it isn't this one. I wonder why Trip Advisor made this error.
