We had our family reunion in this hotel. I really like the rooms. Very clean and modern. I like the renovation that they did and are still working on. I enjoyed the heated pool. Very clean. We stayed at the Surfside May 24th during a quick trip to VA Beach to visit family. The ratings and the reasonable price led us to stay there, whereas most oceanfront hotels are significantly higher. Rennovation is on going, but except for a brief spell where the elevators didn't work, there was MUCH to praise at this hotel. The room...

Wonderful friendly staff. Continental breafast that was included was really more than expected and the wine social each afternoon was great. You get to meet other guest and share conversations. Recommend for everyone.
