I was assigned this repair company through Frigidaire for a dishwasher repair that was to be done under warranty. The appointment was set - two weeks away - and my son took the day off work to be there, as the appointment was scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon. When 12:00 arrived and no one had shown up, I called Superior and was told that the appointment was actually 9 to 1, which I knew to be false, as I had recorded it in my calendar the day it was made. LIE NUMBER ONE. When 1 p.m. arrived and still no repairman, I called the company again and was told that on October 9th a message had been sent to me, telling me that for that zip code, the only time was between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. LIE NUMBER TWO. No such message was ever sent - or received. By this time I had already researched the company on the BBB as well as Yelp, with a sinking feeling in my stomach, as I could see that everyone who reviewed them had nearly the same exact things to say, and that if they ever did show up, they were incompetent, left without doing the repair, or never came back again with the proper part. So - I called at 4:50 p.m., 10 minutes before "closing" and was told that they had tried to get in touch with the repairman, but he had not answered, and that FOR SURE someone would call me that evening and give me an update. Naturally, no phone call - and LIE NUMBER THREE. I waited a day to see if someone from Superior would call and apologize for not having shown up on Monday, but not a word on Tuesday. So on Wednesday, today, I called to complain that no one had shown up after my son had spent the entire day waiting for them - with his PHONE IN HIS HAND, lest he miss the call, and was told by Hindy that someone had called one of our two numbers at 11:18 a.m. on Monday and that we hadn't picked up. NEITHER ONE OF US had a record of any such call, and moreover, our phones had been in our hands all day. LIE NUMBER FOUR. I asked to speak to the supervisor, was told that his name was David, that he worked in the office but could not be called directly, and that Hindy would give him the message to call me. NO CALL, of course. Did she really give him the message? No clue. Could be LIE NUMBER FIVE, though Hindy assured me she did not lie. So here I am with my son having missed a day of work, with me losing a day of productivity, having to keep track of Superior through numerous frustrating phone calls, and having no resolution in sight for a dishwasher that will not drain. HOW can this company still be in business, with the number of negative reviews it has? If I had seen them when I originally set the appointment, I would have asked for another company, but I trusted Frigidaire (first mistake) to send me someone reputable to do their warranty repair. I will never make that mistake again.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! FIND A WAY TO HAVE THEM LOSE THEIR LICENSE TO DO BUSINESS IN ANY STATE, UNDER ANY NAME.
Jose from Superior came out to repair my dishwasher - called and was running ahead of schedule, so he came 30 minutes earlier than the earliest window of time for repair - YAY!! - Really polite and got the job done in a timely manner - dishwasher works great now!! Superior Appliance Repair has fixed my Sub-Zero Refrigerator and my Bosch Washer and Dryer. I am always impressed with the service and the knowledge of the repairmen. They all always courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend :-)
My washing machine broke around 8am in the morning, by 11:30am Alex from Superior Appliance was at my house fixing my machine. Within an hour the machine was back up and working! I had priced washing machines while I was waiting and the price to fix the machine versus buying a new one was a no brainer. He was fast, affordable, genuinely friendly! Turn around time was quick. I made the call around 4:40 p.m. one day, and the next day my washer was repaired by 11:00. The technicians were freindly and knowledgable. They did a good job at educating me and keeping me informed. Superior Appliance was by far the most affordable repair service I could find. I would recommend Superior Appliance to anyone, and WILL!
