Crooks!!!!!!! I got the same shafting as Amanda, Skeeter, and others. The guy made me wait in the cold for 40 minutes after I locked myself out of my house, then gave this long explanation of how difficult my lock would be to get into, and said $280 plus the $25 call charge. Of course at that point, I've been locked out of 1.5 hours, had appointments I had to get to and based on his explanation...

My friend and I were locked out of the house yesterday. We called Sunrise Locksmith and they quoted us $50, however they said it could be more depending on the difficulty of the job. The locksmith showed up stuck two sticks in the door and popped open the door within a minute and said it would be $118.00. The emergency responder was condescending and could not find our location without a full address (including zip code). I have a 5 year old GPS that doesn't require a ZIP code. Even a google search doesn't need a ZIP code to be accurate.
