I can't say enough about how kind the entire staff is at Sullivan Veterinary Service. Our dog was tragically hit by a car and we rushed her in for care. Everyone we dealt with that day was so kind and compassionate. We never felt russhed or uninformed despite the frantic nature of ourr situation. Dr Wendy Byrnes was amazing. She kept us calm and we knew our baby was in capable hands the whole time. She was upfront and honest about the challanges we faced and the options available. She even cried right along with us! We would highly recommend this clinic and will definitely return with our other pets. After speaking with my neighbors, it turns out they also love Sullivan Vet! Why didn't I find them sooner?
Today my puppy jumped out the window of my car while I was driving. He was scraped up pretty bad and I wanted to have him seen by a vet to rule out any other injuries. We recently sought care for our ailing dog and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Despite a busy schedule and the fact we had never used the clinic before, Dr. Wendy Byrnes dropped everything to help us out. The entire staff treated us with compassion during this tough time. They are really an amzing group of people. Dr. Wendy was very knowlegeable but spoke to us in terms we could understand. She was upfront and honest about our dog's prognosis, the options available, and the costs involved. She spent over 45 minutes with us answering all our questions patiently and...
Dr. Wendy is an extremely professional and knowledgeable vet. I drive from Milwaukee to see her, because of the great care she has given my animals for the last 15 years. I would definitely recommend this clinic.
Be very careful when dealing with Dr. Wendy K. Byrnes , DVM. She will quote a price of care with your pet and then doesn't inform you that the care will cost more. Then she goes ahead and does work on your pet and when you go to pick your pet up the cost is a couple hundred dollars more than what she quoted you. I was grateful they got my pet in right away with his emergency situation but my pet got worse, continued bleeding and wouldn't eat ANYTHING whatsoever for a week and then passed away. We discussed the situation with the vet and asked for a refund on the extra 200 she charged us...
