My sisters and I stopped by St Paul's church right after touring the Richmond Capitol. Wow! The stained glass windows are simple gorgeous! It was fun finding the places (pews) where famous people from history sat.
A historic structure right in the heart of the city only steps from the Virginia Capitol grounds, St. Paul's is a nice way to spend some time meditating on it's history and beautiful Tiffany stained glass windows. Worth the time, and could be done in conjunction with the Capitol tour.
Need I say more? This is a beautiful church located next to the capitol building. The windows are magnificent. Well worth the stop.

This Church has seen a lot of history! Jefferson Davis and Robert E Lee are only two of the numerous famous attendees. Douglas Wilder, our first African-American Governor, had his pre-inaugural prayer service here. While not all of the stained glass windows are Tiffany, many are - and they are beautiful! I think 3 or 4 windows are from Monumental...
