great community

Nice people, good mix of young and old, many kids, open-minded theology, thoughtful sermons. Active in the community--IHN, Montopolis Community Center, wheelchairs for Africa, MFSA, a host of others. My wife and I began attending 4 years ago after extensive research and visits to Methodist and other mainline churches in north/northwest Austin, and we love it. When our son was born, we made good use of St. John's-Austin's ""cry room,"" which allows parents to stay with infants and still see and hear the service. Friendly congregation, good choir, good sermons

The choir that sang at 11:00 service sounds very good and the sermons are interesting. I reccomend going to the 11:00 service because the chancel choir sings at that time and I reccomed you visit fellowship class because I went there and the lessons are great
