Better than fast food

Fantastic selection of beach food, burgers,dogs, fried fish,....and the prices are unbelievably cheap! Large portions and great customer service. Definitely will return to try other selections, although the fried catfish sandwich is well worth another trip!

Where can you get lunch at the beach for under $5? You can at Spanky's. The guy at the front counter was really friendly. Nice beach atmosphere to get a really low cost meal.

Great burgers and great prices

I've been here 5 or 6 times over the past few years while on vacation in OBX. This is one of the few places that I make sure I stop at a couple of times throughout the week. The burgers are very big for the price, the owners and staff are very friendly and the service is very fast.
