Convenient for us gardeners at the northern edge of Charlottesville. Our SS is well-stocked, very well-staffed with friendly, helpful, knowledgeable people. Even when it is crowded, service is prompt and cheerful. Sometimes I go over just to browse and get ideas, and if I make that known, they leave me alone and let me roam. Prices are competitive, and the establishment is orderly and clean....

Plants sometimes in poor shape

Plants are displayed on tables in a parking lot, so I suspect that is why otherwise hardy plants sometimes fail to survive the winter. But their hats have earned many compliments.
