My order was for take out. I ordered fried chicken, cole slaw and fried okra. The chicken was dry, overcooked and the cole slaw didn't taste right. It tasted like the dressing wasn't fresh-like the mayonnaise had soured. The fried okra was good though. I also ordered the fried mac and cheese to share. It tasted awful in my opinion....

I went with family, about seven of us, on a Tuesday. There was no wait, but that was certainly due to the season and time of day. It was 2 o'clock. The pulled pork sandwiches were good. The ribs and chicken were too dry for my taste and lacked BBQ flavor. The BBQ beans were average. However, the slaw and potato salads were delicious. Service was so-so. I have found that the daily lunch specials are usually better than the standard menu items. There are much better BBQ offerings in Corolla and Duck.

We look forward to getting some BBQ every year we make our way south. This place is nested in between some cute shops in the Duck area. It was nice to walk around and stop for a early dinner. The food came out quick and hot. Tasty but not over the top special. Good place for lunch,
