The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We visited with several children and the staff was very attentive to them and involved them in everything that was going on. My kids got to make brooms, dip candles, make a rope, and ride in a horse drawn carriage. It was very interesting to see how the old plantation was laid out...

Very knowledgeable tour guide. Well-preserved plantation with all of its surrounding buildings. Great decision for the state to help fund its preservation for generations to be able to relate to local history.

I work at a historic plantation, so this. Place was on my bucket list. The guide was great as she interpreted our tour. She was full of facts and figures and knew everything that made this plantation unique. This place was more of a small town with its own hospital, store, church, and schools. Well worth the beautiful back roads...
