Buyer Beware or Driving Your Dream Car slogan can Turn Into A Nightmare

I have become a victim of Defraud , deceptive and Misleading Practice along with others . To ensure this does not happen to anyone else pleae read below.

I purchase a vehicle from Showcase Imports (owner) Virgil Williams and Vice President Janice Parker. I paid them $23,612.85 for 2005 Convertible CLK500 Mercedes Benz., only to learn from DMV the business closed, possible Bankruptcy. The unethical thing about this is the owner new of the closing hence they meaning Virgil Williams and Vice President Janice Parker continue to take my payments up untill my final payment on 2-11-11 which my bank show they cash the check on 2-14-2011. They closed on 2-16-11. I have over 10 text message from the owner and 1 email from the Vice President Janice Parker promising me I will have my Title and Plate by 2/16/11. I have nothing. My temporary tags expired on 2/15/2011. I went to dealership and they were closed I try telephoning them at 757- 244-4756 and got recorder stating they were temporary closed. I went to DMV and this was when I learned they were shut down. I also received a text from the owner Vigil Williams stating they were closed by DMV.

DMV informed me I would have to pay State Tax and Fees to get my Plates and they would work on getting my Title. which I paid to Showcase/Virgil Williams & Janice Parker hence they never process my paper work but kept the money and closed down. The thing that hurts the most is I already paid my Taxes and fee on the vehicle and I don't have the extra to pay again., so now the slogan Showcase Imports would say

"Drive Your Dream Car" has turned into a nightmare. My dream car is sitting in my drive way and I can't drive it. I am hurt physically and mentally. Every day I look out my window and I cry.

Today was really gorgeous. I could have taken a ride with my top down instead I cry. No tags, no Title.

I see a very beautiful convertible 2005 CLK500 Mercedes Benz and I can do anything with it. Yet I put most of my life saving into it.

If you are a victims. contact Robert Stone of DMV has been assigned this case at 757 455 0882 and
a complaint has been filed with DMV Dealer Board at 804-367-1100.

BUYER BEWARE

Unfortunately, we purchased a car from Showcase Select Imports in September, 2008. We asked many questions about the cars condition from our sales person, and received many reassuring answers. We asked if the car had any damage, scratches or dings, and we were assured the car was in great condition. We were naive enough to purchase without an inspection. Bad, bad, move.

The car arrived in terrible condition. It had a creased door panel. It had about a dozen dings. The front bumper had poorly concealed collision damage: it hung unevenly, had been poorly repainted with paint drips...
