They have a large menu with a wide variety of food, even for vegetarian/vegan, and a few vegan pastries. Staff is helpful and friendly and they have a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Their shockoe shake is amazing!

This place is a large coffeeshop (not a hole in the wall) and its in one of the older historic buildings in Richmond. It has great ambiance and is very comfortable. Its largely brick on the inside with hardwood floors and the coffee makes it smell great ! Its a great place to relax and have a sandwich. The sandwiches are above average- not the best I've ever had, but always fresh and well...

I love their Shockoe (milk) Shake, and they also have a wide range of flavors available for shakes in general. Never have I found better. And its really very nicely decorated, and it smells so awesome when you walk in, this sweet coffee type smell that permeates through the place. \r

Excellent shakes

I usually take my kids there late Sunday mornings or early afternoons after walking the Canal Walk for some milkshakes. My favorite is the Shockoe Shake. We enjoy drinking them outside under the tree where the kids chase after the birds. Very relaxing times. :-)

The restaurant has a nice, comfy feel to it with a nice reading nook in one corner with a comfortable sofa and chairs.
