Very positive experience on dishwasher repair. The repairman was competent and friendly, replaced the broken part. And since the machine was under warranty, there was no added cost.

Our Sears dishwasher wouldn't pump out. The nice repairman wasn't allowed to remove the built-in d-w to check it out. He needed a carpenter to remove the machine, a plumber if there were supply or drain issues past the machine, and presumably an electrician. Maybe they should send in a general contractor for built-in dishwasher repairs.
