This was the perfect spot for the Virginia Beach Marathon. The starting line was minutes away and the finish line was even closer. The price was extremely inexpensive and I felt like we lucked out finding the place. The runners go by the hotel twice so fans can easily cheer on their family members.
The hotel was far from fancy....

The location was great, there was a lot of good food close by and the price wasn't bad. The beds were pretty comfortable and there was working AC. The hotel had a hot tub, pool and sun deck which were also pretty nice.

This hotel was right on the beach!!! The room was clean and comfortable. Also has a big deck overlooking the boardwalk/ beach. Right next to Dairy Queen!!! Would highly recommend this hotel unfortunately, they are closing in September. From what we heard, they were bought by Hilton Hotels.

My husband and I planned a weekend get away for his birthday. I love the location, it was definitely convenient. For the price we paid we got our money's worth...will be coming back
