Help us make it rightWithout having reservations on a Holiday Weekend, we pulled in to Manteo hoping to find a place, without a hefty price. We found it here at the Scarborough Inn. Unique, clean and quiet. Glad we happened upon it.
The hostess was courteous and abundantly helpful, even when we called for directions and called back. The rooms are spacious (we reserved two) and show varied decoration. We would go back every time we visit the Manteo area, because every detail is immaculately clean, even the decks and stairways.

Great place at a reasonable price even during the summer
Nice place to stay for a really reasonable price. Nice room with two doubles $100 per night during the peak season. Close to all the attractions, and if you're inclined, they'll provide a bike to adults to ride on the paved multiuse path across the street. Rooms furnished with antique style furniture and a microwave and fridge in the room. There's no pool, but it's only 10 minutes away...
