If you're looking for Ambience, this is not the place. It is endearing but not impressive. However if you are looking for a great dinner and great service this is the place. The cocktails are exquisite, and the food is always reliably delicious. This fits the bill for our expectations.

The service and setting are very nice. It is a good place for a special occasion, a little pricey but the food is excellent making it worth it.

Had dinner there based on customer ratings. The staff was wonderful. The food not so wonderful. For a restaurant that is close to the Chesapeake Bay the crab cakes and tartar sauce, were pedestrian - very disappointing.

Really Enjoyed Our Dinner

We have been driving through White Stone and the Sandpiper for 10 years....and finally decided to stop in with my wife.
Pros: Very nice people, friendly atmosphere, great service, and really, really good food. My wife had a filet and I had the fettuccine with chicken and shrimp...
Cons: It was pretty expensive...but worth it.
Face it - there isn't...
