I heard many times last year that we were going through Accreditation and now I've heard it starting this year. I know it is a five year process. When did we last pass? (Edited August 13, 2009)

I keep hearing the same number each year SJCS has produced 12 valedictorians or salutatorians at Bishop Kenny High School the last 14 years, last year I heard 12 the last 15 now 12 the last 16. Where do these numbers come from as BK is just now trying to gather that info from my understanding. I would like to know the stats for the last 4 years because these are the students that attended primarily under this admin. I have little ones and this is of interest to me. I am proud of 16 years but what happened with different chuch and school leaders is like a attending a different school. After Mass, Father did mention to me once that he does just leave school matters to the principal. I wish he took a more active role. She's been there eight years. She has some strong points but I do feel she should conduct a more professional and objective example of behavior. She does favor and show def to some. Yet, she has always talked with me. She doesn't follow through and does seem to want me to be happy before the conversation ends. I would like more information... The building is coming along nicely. The new security system is state of the art. No more graffiti and stolen purses. I do wish we enforced a sign in as strangers can walk the campus and what good is it after the fact. Please no more surprises on the day of the dance that photos are going to be high priced. A week or two warning appreciated. (Edited August 13, 2009)
At San Jose Catholic School I have had nothing but a wonderful experience with my children! I have a child who struggled with grades and everyone there at San Jose was a cheerleader for him!
