Same old Sam...good sushi

I was in vacation with my family and decided to take my young daughter here with my wife. She was scared because I told her about my previous visits to Sam's. She sat very quietly....waited for us to order. Now, she can say she has conquered Sam's. Sushi was cheap and great!

Think "the soup kitchen" from Seinfeld. Go into this as an experience.
Yeah, he is abrasive...I could see him being rude. However, this was the best sushi I've ever had and it was mind blowingly affordable.
Just tell him you are local, sit quietly and don't leave a tip.
However, leave with your perspective of our warped society changed.

Like another reviewer, we experienced exactly the same extremely rude behavior from "Sam". We only wanted two rolls, one for each of us, but he refused to make anything for us, and told us to leave and come back when we wanted more! I was the only one of my family that wanted sushi and so went to place an order to go. I asked for one roll. He told me to leave and that he was too busy for one roll and come back when I had more to order. Unbelievably rude!

I was a bit nervous to go in just from reading some of the reviews here but we've never had bad service here. We normally go right when he opens for the evening shift otherwise there's not a lot of room to sit or stand. Once that happens, Sam will more than likely ask you to leave.
