My experience with this company was not good! First I called to have them come out to give me an estimate on repairing my 52" TV. They said it would be a $49.00 service free to come out and look at it. When they arrived 1.5 days later, they said it will be $149 to take it to the shop to diagnose it. $49.00 to come out to my house and $100 take it to the shop to diagnose it. After 2 days I called to see what the diagnoses was and they said it would cost more to repair it than to just buy a new TV. So he said he would put it back together and when his sick employees returned to work they would bring it back to me. It's been 1 week since my tv left my home. I just called, the owner is in the hospital and the guy answering the phone (JAMES) can't release the tv until he returns on Monday. So for $149 I got nothing except 1 week without tv and terrible customer service. So much for "we strive for a 24 hour turnaround time".
I contacted SD TV Service Monday morning, explained my problem with my Sony LCD TV. Within 1 hr I had representatives from SD at my residence to check my TV & determine what the problem might be. The techs were very professional, explained to me what the problem might be and the estimated cost to repair. The TV had to go to the shop to be repaired. Within a couple hours I received a call that the problem had been found & what it would cost to repair, I agreed to the repairs & was informed of the timeframe I could expect them to return, SD TV called & informed me they were on their way to my home with my repaired tv. They setup the tv, showed me that it was operating properly & set the tv to factory specifications. They went out of the way to move a tv & set it up in the room I wanted it placed. SD TV repair prices & serve call were reasonable & truly provided exceptable professional & reliable service., I would highly recommended SD TV to others who would reqiuire TV repairs.
Rick is a person of his word. He went out of his way to quickly fix the problem, and the very next day, my tv was ready and delivered to me! Thank you so very much! You are the BEST!
