I live a few blocks away and was happy to see Sal's Pizza move into the neighborhood.I agree the bottom is slightly burnt but it looks like problem of crumbs from previous pizzas causing the problem.I recommend management be sure this is removed between each pie.I however find Sal's Pizza to be the closest to real New York pizza in the area.I have tried several others but would not return to...

They have a very nice location and facility. But the rude Lady at the front desk and hearing that the Suffolk Fire house down the road didn't like their food, had me worried. First we did get the special and the crust was burnt on the bottom and the tea was sour. I called back to have the young girl tell me sorry bring it back and we will take a look at it. Wow to get a 90, this must mean Mama...

Sals Pizza has that east coast pizza flavor down. Their sauce is always hot, and flavored nicely, and their value is tough to beat. The toppings on our pies were generously spread.
