Help us make it rightI have my hair cut by whoever is free at the time I need and I have not been disappointed. Plus, my hair smells so good when I leave. And who wouldn't like a scalp massage and a hand massage? Ahhh.
I went to a stylist and had my highlights done. It was not virgin hair, I was searching for a new stylist. I made sure she knew that I used more than one spot to part, and that I expected a uniform look. Well, it was obvious where the new hair color and the old hair color met, and I was unhappy with the service. I called and got a *correction*. The girl told me she was only going to use one color. It should have been a highlight and lower light to make the color uniform all over my head. She did manage to get some color on the parts that I used, for which I was grateful. But it...
I've only been here to have my hair washed and dried. My hair is very thick and wavy so it's always hard work for the stylist who has to dry my hair. I was charged $35 for the wash and blow-dry which I thought was reasonable. Then the stylist added on another $30 or $35 because she'd used a curling iron. I found that excessive! The next time I use the salon, I will ask up-front exactly what they're charging. I think it's unfair to charge extra without warning the client beforehand. She doubled her fee by using a curling iron.

This salon is expensive, but worth every dime. Their products are top notch and make my hair smell and look fabulous. The staff is very detail oriented and are quick to offer you a drink or hand massage. Brandon Perry is a genious with color. The makeup artist always asks if I'd like a complimentary touch up before I leave, unless she's with someone else. Massages are fabulous (especially Simone @ Midlothian).
