It's easy being green at this cheery, cheap takeout salad spot in Williamsburg.

In Short
This miniscule salad joint is appropriately painted green, and the walls are etched with a vaguely lettuce-like pattern. The shockingly fashionable and chipper staff takes order...

Yelp

Salad Queen is a great healthy option without leaving you broke, and the regular salad can feed two people. I have more fun here choosing my salad toppings than clothes shopping.

Yelp

God save the Queen because the Queen filled a huge void when she set up shop off of Graham Avenue. Fresh, custom-made salads? Fresh sandwiches? Soup in the winter? Baked potatoes? Finally... some…

But today my appetite was ruined by a guy with a 'tude!
I felt so embarrased (and should feel that way) that I was paying my bill with singles and quarters. I said I know this is annoying, I'm sorry. Delivery boy said Yeah it is really annoying. I was waiting for him to say just kidding, but he angrily asked Are you going to give me the change already? He was so rude to me and probably an angry person in general. I do understand that it is annoying...
