This was the 2nd time we have eaten at here and it was not as good as the first time. Our server seemed distracted, made no suggestions, and failed to tell us ahead of time what was not available that evening from the menu. The staff seemed to have their own party going on and it was inappropriate to see 2 of them (one was the chef making sushi rolls) drinking shots behind the bar in full view...
One of the best sushi restaurants I've been to. The Tokyo Dirty Rice (shrimp, bacon, pineapple shishito pepper - Yum) was fantastic. The flights of Sake were very interesting. Service was top notch. Definitely a restaurant to dine at when on Coronado.
Great food, great service. Tried the Saiko miso soup this time and it was great! Also tried the bento box for lunch and it was a great deal.
Our server was rude and short. We came for HH at 3pm
