Rudee’s is always fun but the best time is spring and summer when the deck is open. Rudee’s has an incredibly simple dish that is special – a crab meat meal. They take a healthy serving of fresh crab meat out of the shell and put it in a bowl. They serve it with potatoes, veggies and drawn butter. This makes eating crab so enjoyable if you have a taste for it but just do not want to fool with the shells. The other food is tasty but this dish has my heart. Being able to sit on the deck, in a rocking bench, under (or not) a canopy while being served a drink by a pretty, friendly server makes this a very fun time.
Best weekend brunch in town. While the service is so so, great outside seating, the Grecian omlet can't be beat and my girlfriend can't get enough of the bloody marys.
Average at best. Service is slow and not very friendly, nor accurate. The food is marginal.

Our go to seafood place when in Virginia Beach. The usual entree for me is the fried shrimp, which has a light batter and tastes great - not the typical crusty breaking on mass-made fried shrimp....
I was staying at the boardwalk this past weekend and i had my eye on the usuals...not gonna name any names, but it starts with water and ends with man. I had to resist the famous orange crushes...
The big draw here is absolutely the outdoor seating on the water with the glider chairs. No better place to enjoy a beautiful day and the boating activity in the inlet. Warm, attentive personnel plus good food and the novelty of the glider tables make this place a winner. Portions are huge although the dessert menu could be bugger. Try the she - crab chowder: it's to die for.
