Help us make it rightMyrtle Beach is hot in summer, so it's little wonder that June through August this park is jampacked with families escaping the heat. The state's largest water park has 1 million gallons and some 20 acres of curves, waves, and swerves. Some 200,000 visitors come annually for the more than 30 rides and various attractions, including an Ocean in Motion Wave pool; the LayZee River, a slow, 3-mph...
This was by far one of the best parts of our trip. Myrtle Waves was very pocket friendly and everyone had a blast. Only downside is most of the concessions stands were closed.
Have been to Myrtle Waves many times. The kids love it! It's a fun outdoor activity as an alternative to the beach. You can ride the rides....aruba tuba...is our favorite or you can relax by the wave pools. It's not the largest water park but it's convenient to where we stay and we'll continue to visit.
The managers over food service should be fired simply for their treatment of under age staff. Using the f word towards employess that dont appear to be more than 15 or 16 is uncalled for. I was under the impression this was a family place, but apparently not!
Myrtle waves was the best. My boys enjoyed this, I'm the best mommy right now! Ages 4 & 8!!! The food and drink prices are overpriced. I just suggest you eat before go, get a snack and splurge on drinks. I was always told not to swim on a full meal or at least sit out a while to allow...
Yes we got a deal at $12.99 per person but 1/2 the park was closed because they didn't have enough staff (that's what they said) and the wave pool was just too extremely nasty to even get in. It had some kind of "spew" looking patch down at the deep end and the walls of the pool looked like they...
South Carolina's largest water park, the 20-acre Myrtle Waves Water Park features slides, raft rides, family attractions, and more.
Things to Do with Kids: Cool off from the summer heat at South Carolina's largest water park and have a splashing good time for the whole family. Featuring more than 30 rides and water slides, this 20-acre park features towering, twisting water slides, a massive wave pool and a children's aquatic playground that are sure to bring smiles to faces looking for some fun in the sun. For life in the...
When a water park advertises 30 thrill rides inside of 20 acres, you know you're in for a very wet, fun day. The adventurous slides have names like Turbo-Twisters and Pipeline Plunge while more sedate ones like the LayZee River and Ocean-in-Motion provide more tranquil pursuits. Admission includes all day rides, optional life vest, free parking, tubes, showers and changing facilities. The park...
