Horrible hair cut (see photos), horrible customer service
Horrible hair cut and customer service. Don't get your hair cut there. Katie at the Chesapeake salon was my stylist, according to her, she has 6 years of experience cutting hair.
I had long layered hair that I wanted trimmed a little, I asked that it be kept long and that I wanted it to grow out to one length (which it almost was). After my hair cut I didn't notice anything but I was in a rush to get home because Katie was so slow cutting my hair, it took forever and I needed to get back to my newborn daughter. As soon as I got home, I looked in the mirror as anyone does to inspect it further and noticed the front right side of my long layers surrounding my face was drastically shorter than the left side. I immediately called the salon and spoke with Katie. She told me to come back in, so I drove straight back there. Katie said thanks for coming back....most people don't :-/
I sat in her seat and she began to try and even out my hair, she couldn't get it even and kept going back and forth cutting from one side to the other in attempts to get it even. She kept asking is it even now and I told her no. She then asked the female stylist behind her to help her "fix it". The other stylist came over and tried to fix it but was unsuccessful. Katie said how does that look, I responded with it's still not even. She then began snipping away again, I ended up with short uneven bangs when my hair was below my chin! I told her it was ok and that I didn't want my hair to get any shorter, she asked are you sure and like an idiot I said yes for fear I wouldn't have any hair left! I walked out of the salon, got home to not only see that I had short bangs but they were uneven and the back of my hair was completely uneven, one side was shorter than the other in the back and very choppy, a two year old could've given a better hair cut.
The next day, I called the salon to speak with a manager, Kyle got on the phone, I told him what happened, he asked that I come in so he can take a look. I went into the salon later that day, Kyle checked my hair out and said he could fix it, at that point I told him no, I wanted a refund because 2 stylists already attempted to fix it and left me with a horrible hair cut. He asked that I give him the opportunity to fix the problem and I continued with no, I already gave this salon the opportunity to fix it, he said not by him, I said I had no trust in anyone there. He said they were voted best of Chesapeake, I responded with, not by me. I asked to speak with Ron Paul, Kyle said he wasn't in and that he would be there on Monday.
I called on Monday and got Ron Paul's assistant, he told me Ron Paul wasn't in and that he was running errands. I told him my story, he said he would speak with Ron Paul and call me back, I wanted a refund at that point. The assistant never called me back, I had to follow up. He told me that Ron Paul said that they don't offer a refund because anyone can get a free hair cut by saying they weren't happy with it. They offered a discount the next time I wanted my hair cut there, I said I wouldn't be back. I asked to send pictures just to prove to them I was telling the truth, the assistant gave me his email, I sent the pictures and asked that he let me know that he received the pictures, he never responded to my email. I wish I could post my photos here, the pictures show it all!
I went to my hairstylist who was out of town at the time and she blended my hair but she's working to correct the problem, my hair still has to grow out in order for it to become even again without cutting the length.
You don't have to believe me but this is the truth, 100%. I will never recommend or go back to Ron Paul again. That was my first and only time ever going to this horrible salon! Horrible customer service!
