It consists of Judo, Okinawan Karate, Thai Boxing Style Striking, Gracie Style Jiu-Jitsu (Army Combatives). We also Have a Hybrid Thai Kick Boxing Cardio Fitness Program. We offer training day & night for adults and separate evening classes for kids 4-13 years of age.
Our Self Defense Program is a combination of Karate, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Thai Boxing Style Striking for Self Defense. We offer Group classes offered in the Evening and Daytime. We also offer Cardio Kickboxing and High Intense Interval Training for weight loss, body toning and strength training. We Host Birthday Parties for children ages 4-13. Private Lessons are available too.

I have two children, 5 and 13, currently attending Rodney Cheeseman Karate and MMA Studio. Both boys truly enjoy the experience and look forward to their sessions each week. When my youngest started training (Age 4 ½), I was worried he would have difficulty staying focused and following the directions of his instructors for the duration of a class. My concern was unnecessary. Mr. Cheeseman, Kyoshi, is an excellent instructor with a bigger than life personality that commands the attention of adults and children of all ages. His training maintains an excellent balance of instruction and fun that keeps the children engaged throughout each session.
I could go on and on about how my boys have gained skills that will aid them throughout their lives like personnel discipline, respect towards others or the self confidence that comes from knowing how to protect yourself from those that mean you harm. The bottom line is that if you are interested in learning self-defense or want your child to gain the many benefits that come with learning martial arts, then I know of no one better to teach and guide than Kyoshi.
I left a big gym to start Hybrid Thai Kickboxing classes here about 10 months ago. Since I've started I have lost weight, built muscle in my arms and legs, I have better cardio, I sleep well and I have some self-defense knowledge too. It's hard! You're going to run around, lift weights, do push-ups until you hate them, but it's worth it. You're going to see your body change like I have. Try it! Kyoshi is a great teacher and his dojo is 100 times better than the fancy gym I left.
I love what he does with the kids and how he boosts up their self esteem and make them feel good about themselves.

Rodney Chesseman Karate & MMA is a great place to learn self-defense and a great way to get a work out in. With Rodney Cheeseman’s expertise in mix martial arts ranging from Karate to Jiu-Jitsu, he will give you the confidence and skills you need to defend yourself in any situation. Rodney emphasizes how important it is for him to teach woman self-defense and give them the tools to defend themselves. He works on your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to female self-defense. I am enrolled in Rodney Cheeseman’s MMA program and it has improved my strength, balance, coordination and self-defense skills. Rodney Cheese has an awesome cardio class that will get you in shape or if you are in shape will keep you in shape. His cardio class is on a whole other level. He is constantly changing up the class so he keeps you on your toes throughout the workout. His cardio class has me sweating up a storm and I feel so amazing after each workout, I just keep going back for more. Overall I highly recommend Rodney Cheeseman Karate & MMA because it is an awesome way to get in shape or stay in shape and more importantly to learn the skills and the importance of self-defense. So come on out and give it a try.

It has been my pleasure to have my children enrolled in his karate class. He teaches kids of all ages self discipline but mainly self respect. Any parent out there looking to get their kids in a program take them to Rodney Cheeseman Karate and enroll them in because you will not be disappointed.
