I stayed here from October 5th -12th while on my regular fall vacation to the Outer Banks. This was the first time I have stayed at this hotel and it was a pleasant surprise. It is right across from Jeanette’s Pier and had a convenience store within walking distance. It isn’t in a high traffic area, so it has a relaxed atmosphere while also having great access to the major highway running through the Outer Banks, so getting to restaurants and shopping was an easy drive.

Great staff, great service, GREAT PLACE

We booked 4, 2-room ""cabins"" and 2 rooms for OBX Bike Week '09 and never regretted a moment of it. In fact, the trip was the absolute best I've ever taken and the TOI was a huge contributing factor in that. The owner was friendly and accomodating and the staff was couteous and professional. We're booking the same rooms for OBX '10.

This belligerent guest had to be asked ot leave after unrelenting yelling, screaming and insults in our office because she had to wait 15 minutes for fresh towels in the morning and had a couple minor issues with here room. I fully realize that all guests will not be happy and we always try to fix any problem as soon as possible but this was ridiculous , please go to tripadvisor to see actual reviews of our small inn on the beach in Nags Head NC.
