Rock Creek in Bethesda, not to be confused with its lesser sister in Friendship Heights, is a delightfully quiet, peaceful oasis serving interesting and healthy dishes that taste great too. Service in Bethesda is outstanding. Service in Friendship Heights is consistently terrible and the restaurant smells like popcorn from the movie theatre across the hall.
food can be good, service awful
[I went to Rock Creek Mazza] While I want to love it for its health and social consciousness, it feels like a health conscious restaurant. Not a good value, service a bit pretentious. I'd rather go elsewhere and spend another 1/2 hour on the bike. I do love the tree centering the room, and the banquettes were very roomy and comfortable.
Very good, but not worth the price.
