I've been going to Duck for the last 25 years and always hit the Roadside. Decent beer selection and the food is consistent. Limited , but good, draft selection but the bottle choices are pretty good. Backside bar is really cool and they have good live music. Great atmosphere for a place walkable from most developments in Duck.

We had a terrific meal on a rainy Saturday here. Wonderful grill cheese sandwich, w/ red onion, tomato, and bacon jam. Unbelievable! W/ side of tomato soup. Husband had chicken salad on a bed of lovely fresh greens. Great Beer. We will return next time...

Headed out on a Monday evening in upper OBX in late December. Trouble finding places open with two other couples. This was pre-Christmas week and a lot of places close then reopen for Christmas/New Year's. Ended up at Roadside in Duck. Busy night since limited...
