Expensive as hell but the food was ok. Pancakes and French toast were on the greasy side. Not bad for a hotel breakfast bar. But at $20 a plate!?!? Would not have spent $100 for breakfast for 4 if it did not come with the room. Could have had an excellent Steak and eggs at almost any other place for that price. Save your money and go to downtown Grapevine for breakfast at the bakery.

My dining experiences here have been both good and bad.The only time I have a good dining experience is when I go to the Sunday brunch buffet. It is expensive, but worth it.My fiancé and I recently went there for dinner for a birthday party. It was about 10 of us at a table. The waitress was slow and seemed inexperienced.I wanted the chicken enchiladas. She said that they were out of the sour cream...

Awfulness. $18 bucks for the worst cheese enchiladas you can imagine. Greasy chips. Bad, slow insufferable service. Blandness beyond belief. Calling this TexMex is an abomination and I am ashamed that tourists might actually think anything in this awful hotel has anything to do with Texas. If you get stuck here for a convention leave the property for all meals.

Food Good / Service Sucks. We visited the Gaylord Texan the weekend of 8-10 December. Our first night we hit up the Cantina. It took us about an hour to be seated, which is understandable as the place was packed.

Half and half. We had excellent service, but the food was very hit or miss. We went for brunch on a Sunday, which was $35/person. The salmon, shrimp, and other seafood was fabulous. The red meat (prime rib, tenderloin, lamb) was terrible. All of it was tough and bland.
