My wife and I purchased a Groupon to eat at this Riverboat On The Potomac. My wife ordered the Bacon Filet Mignon and it turned out to be tough Sirloin. Taste more like old Roast beef. I ordered the Butterflied fried shrimp. They were NOT butterflied. The meal was served with CAN string beans, they were nasty. The worst was...

Our group has lunch there every three months. We have been going there for almost 9 years now.. We have between 30 and 40 or more people show up for the occasion.
We are retired government employees . We have a great time there and the atmosphere is great and so is the food . The waiters are very pleasant...

NOt a nice beach area but this restaurant was surprisingly good. Sad that not many people live in this area. And it is a remote place in winter time.

the crab dip is to die for and now that I live in Maine I wish I had the recipe! no one in Maine can make it like colonial beach. and don't be freaked out when you go to the little girls room and you hear the water under you. lol
