I went there looking to get my hair trimmed a little. Just an inch off. When I left and went home, I noticed that it didn't look right... Dorthea styled it too! So I went back to get my bangs re trimmed and said that I wanted my bangs all even. She still styled it AND took off a few more inches! I eventually had to trim my hair myself and noticed she can't cut straight. I'm going to have to go around with a messed up hair style or shave my head now... She's an amateur at best.
Ive been going to The Ritz for many years....its been opened since 1987.Its a Beauitiful Day Spa. All of their Staff are very proffesional,'friendly,and well educated.The salon prices are very compatible.I would recommend this salon absolutly!
I was a customer of Ritz International Hair of Hampton, Virginia on 11August 2008. A friend of mine and me went in and spent $150 to get our hair highlighted with 3 different colors to go from medium brown to a light blonde. I was charged for four colors. After sitting in the salon for four hours, we did not receive what we asked for. So, instead of sitting for another four hours to get it fixed, we left hoping to accept it. My stylist said if I wanted some more highlights added later on to just let her know and I would not be charged for it. I called to schedule an appointment for us to go back and fix our hair to what we had originally asked for, I was told to call back and speak with the manager. I called four separate occasions and was unable to get a hold of the manager. Then I was told that the manager would call me twice but that never happened. I finally was able to make an appointment for my friend but was informed that the same stylist that colored her hair originally would have to be the one to fix it and that she would not be getting paid for. So, today, my friend went into the salon and sat there for twenty minutes only to be embarrassed in front of everyone. She was told that she got exactly what she asked for and that she would have to pay to get her hair fixed to what she originally asked for. I do not appreciate this and would hope that you could right this wrong.
Wonderful experience. The Best Massage and Pedicure I have ever gotten. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair! I love this place and these people. Check it out. You won't be disappointed!
Very impressed by my entire experience. This place was opened 25 years ago and it shows because they still value the customer. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It is a very well kept Salon, some of the hair dressers are
vey good & friendly, some are a ittle upper class, & look
down thier nose at you, most of them give an excellent
haircut the first time, if you become a regular customer, they
will start to rush you in and out, they are on a short time
allottment. My hair dressers barely speaks to me.
This place SUCKS!! I went there to get my hair colored & told the lady what i wanted, she went wit wha she THOUGHT would look good, & didnt listen to anything @ all i had to say! I askd her when i went in there for highlight,...Yea i end'd up with highlights, ORANGE ONES!! I paid way too much & would have gotten better highlight it i would have gone to SuperCuts!! this place sucks DONT DO THERE!!
